Need a specific distance? Choose Enter exact radius, type the distance in miles or kilometers, then click the map where you want the center. It is free and requires no account. You can also draw a circle by eye by dragging from one edge of the circle to the opposite edge.

How to Use the Map Radius Tool

  1. Find the location: search for an address or pan and zoom to the area you need.
  2. Enter the radius: click Enter exact radius, type a number, and choose miles or kilometers.
  3. Place the center: click the point on the map that should sit in the middle of the circle.
  4. Adjust it if needed: select the circle and choose Enter exact radius again to change its size without moving its center.
  5. Share your radius: click Share to copy a link that preserves the circle and map view.

Prefer to draw by eye? The Circle tool is already selected on this page. Press and drag from one edge of the circle to the opposite edge; the distance between those two points is the circle's diameter.
